Robert Kaufmann, shareholder at Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, was recently named Chairman of the HCA-HealthONE LLC® Board of Governors.
As Chairman of the board, Kaufmann will oversee its governing duties for HealthONE, metro Denver’s largest hospital system and healthcare provider. Additionally, Kaufmann will ensure that the board’s operations continue to align with HealthONE’s mission to provide quality healthcare at a reasonable cost to patients and the people in our communities.

Kaufmann serves as co-chair of Brownstein’s real estate department. His practice focuses on the acquisition, development, leasing and management of office buildings, shopping centers and industrial projects. Additionally, his practice includes corporate law where he focuses on the formation, merging and dissolution of corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies. In his nearly 20 years of experience, Kaufmann has played a substantial role in some of Denver’s largest real estate projects including the redevelopment of the Southglenn Mall and the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.
With a dedication to the health and well-being of the Denver community, Kaufmann has served in volunteer leadership roles for several local nonprofit and community organizations. For the past seven years, he has served on the board of directors for The Colorado Health Foundation, as well as its board of trustees. Additionally, he has served on the board of directors for the Colorado Center for Nursing Excellence and the Denver Metro Convention and Visitors Bureau Foundation.
Active in the Jewish community, Kaufmann is a member of the Colorado Real Estate Council of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee and sits on the board of trustees for Congregation Emanuel. He is a former board member of the Allied Jewish Federation of Colorado, American Jewish Committee and Hillel Council of Colorado and former chair of the Jewish Community Relations Council.
