Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck is pleased to announce that Steve Demby, a shareholder in the firm’s Denver office and a member of its executive committee, recently was appointed to serve on the board of directors of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC). His term starts in March 2016 and will initially last a period of three years.
"My work on behalf of AIPAC is the best expression of my love for Israel and my love for the United States,” said Demby. “Strengthening the bonds between the two countries brings countless benefits to each of their citizens. And it helps safeguard Israel, a haven of democracy, the rule of law and moral decency, in a region engulfed in chaos.”
Throughout his extensive career navigating complex corporate and real estate transactions, Steve has negotiated hundreds of deals including several high-profile transactions in excess of several billion dollars. His work focuses on the energy and renewable energy, telecommunications and real estate industries, as well as public-private partnerships.
Steve is also actively involved in political campaigns and philanthropic endeavors throughout the country. He has been actively involved with AIPAC for 25 years, most recently as the former chair of AIPAC Colorado Council and a member of the National Executive Committee Board.
AIPAC is a bipartisan organization of U.S. citizens committed solely to strengthening, protecting and promoting the U.S.-Israel relationship in ways that enhance the security of the United States and Israel. For more information, please visit: http://www.aipac.org/.
