Three Brownstein Shareholders Listed Among “Who’s Who” by Pacific Coast Business Times

The Pacific Coast Business Times recently recognized three Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck shareholders in its “Who’s Who in Professional Services” special section.

Steve Amerikaner, Beth Collins-Burgard and Scott Slater were listed among the top names in legal or accounting services to know in Ventura, Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties. All three are shareholders in Brownstein’s Santa Barbara office.

Steve is the office managing partner in Santa Barbara, and his career in real estate law spans four decades and many changes in environmental laws and land use regulations. He focuses his practice in California’s Central Coast representing property owners and businesses seeking development permits and navigating other government approval processes.

Beth focuses her practice in real estate and energy and natural resources law with a rare mix of significant permitting, transactional and litigation experience. She assists various landowners, public agencies and institutions, energy companies and developers through all stages of the land development process, specializing in high-controversy projects and properties.

Scott chairs Brownstein’s Natural Resources Department and is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. His practice emphasizes negotiation and strategic planning to help clients in securing and managing their water portfolios. Scott serves as special water counsel to investor-owned utilities, private equity groups, private corporations, special districts, cities and large landowners.

The full list of professionals is available in the Oct 20-26 edition of the Pacific Coast Business Times.
