Darryl Landahl Rejoins Brownstein’s Health Care Practice as Shareholder

Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck is pleased to announce that Darryl T. Landahl will rejoin the firm as a shareholder in the Denver office.

Landahl most recently served as vice president and associate general counsel at a multistate medical group where he helped guide its pending sale to a national health care company. Landahl adds transactional and regulatory depth to the firm’s national health care practice.

“Darryl has spent his entire career focused on cutting-edge health care work. His in-house experience at some of the most sophisticated health care companies in the U.S. will be a great addition to our growing national health care practice,” said Mike King, Brownstein’s Corporate & Business Department chair. “His recent work in the rapidly evolving fields of provider-managed care and value-based payment brings rare expertise in the much-needed area of driving physician-led, high-quality care with greater efficiency.”

Landahl has substantial experience advising health care providers, health plans and other health care industry clients on all types of regulatory and transactional matters with a particular focus on structuring contracts and acquisitions in compliance with federal and state law. He has significant experience in payor contracting and developing provider networks as well as negotiating a wide array of health care administrative services agreements.

Landahl received his J.D. from Arizona State University Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law and his B.S. from Arizona State University.
