In his corporate practice, Patrick Berry helps his clients navigate legal issues without sacrificing broader business goals. He has experience representing companies spanning sizes and industries in complex transactions. With a comprehensive approach, Patrick has built a reputation for knowing pressure points and deeply understanding his clients’ business needs.  

In particular, his work has included private middle-market mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and partnerships, and he has served in an outside corporate counsel role for clients in various industries, including technology, consumer products and hospitality. Patrick also has experience navigating complex and sensitive matters and transactions for his corporate clients, from distressed asset sales to partnership disputes and dissolutions.  He also has advised socially responsible businesses, including nonprofit organizations, benefit corporations and certified “B Corps”.

Patrick graduated first in his law school class. While in law school, Patrick worked as an extern in the Wisconsin Department of Justice and an intern at Advocacy and Benefits Counseling for Health. Before joining Brownstein, Patrick worked as a corporate associate at a Madison, Wisconsin-based law firm.
