As a former patent examiner, Trevor Bervik understands the inner workings of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and brings that experience to his work in patent preparation and prosecution. Trevor pairs this deep well of knowledge of the patent process with a knack for understanding complex scientific innovations borne from a background in physics and engineering.
During law school, Trevor supported the Entrepreneurial Law Clinic, where he drafted and prosecuted patent applications for small Colorado businesses. He was also a member of the Executive Board for the Colorado Technology Law Journal and was co-president of the CU Intellectual Property Association. Before coming to law school, Trevor worked as a patent examiner in the electrophotography arts and worked with the laser physics department for a local high-powered laser manufacturer.
Trevor is a registered patent attorney with the USPTO.
