  • Trademark counsel to the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, protecting, enforcing and licensing the famous WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS, STAYS IN VEGAS and WHAT HAPPENS HERE, STAYS HERE brands

  • Entertainment counsel to Caesars Entertainment, negotiating and drafting multiple agreements with high-profile entertainers and international recording artists performing at the client’s casino resorts and entertainment venues.

  • Intellectual property and entertainment counsel to the Liberace Foundation for the Creative and Performing Arts, protecting, enforcing and licensing Liberace’s trademarks and rights of publicity.

  • Intellectual property counsel to Red Rock Resorts and its subsidiary, Station Casinos, in numerous complex transactions, including the acquisition of the Palms Resort & Casino, credit facilities and notes offerings, and an internal reorganization.

  • Recovered infringing domain names in Uniform Domain Name Dispute Policy (UDRP) proceedings before the National Arbitration Forum on behalf of multiple casino gaming clients, including Station Casinos, Wynn Resorts, Boyd Gaming, MGM Resorts, and Pinnacle Entertainment.

  • Represented leading casino gaming company in brand licensing deal with famous comedian and television host, whereby client was granted an exclusive license to use the comedian’s name and personal brand in the development of a new comedy club.

  • Represented Tejon Indian Tribe in negotiating an agreement to license the HARD ROCK CASINO brand.

  • Entertainment and intellectual property counsel to Fremont Street Experience in negotiating and drafting a production services agreement for the development of a reality television show about Downtown Las Vegas.

  • Counsel to Gaiam in a carve out sale transaction in which it sold its non-Gaiam branded entertainment media distribution business to Cinedigm for $51.5M.

  • Represented a hotel property owner when an employee was wrongly accused of certain bad actions which were posted on an anonymous website. This accusation urged web users to boycott Brownstein's client's properties. The firm was successful in shutting down the defamatory website.

  • Negotiated a complex trademark settlement and consent agreement between the City of Las Vegas and Boyd Gaming Corporation regarding the use of the famous Fremont mark in connection with the City's downtown redevelopment district.

  • Negotiated settlement of a trademark infringement lawsuit between two Las Vegas golf courses. This matter included alleged counterfeiting, service mark infringement, dilution, false advertising, false designation of origin and unfair competition.
