In her administrative law and government relations practice, Kristina Kleist combines her in-depth knowledge of key regulations with a strong attention to detail to deliver successful results for her clients. With a focus on regulatory licensing and compliance, she represents clients in all facets of business and privileged licensing matters before local, state and federal government agencies.
Kristina has worked on many transportation-related issues in the distinctive Nevada transportation industry. She advises her clients prior to and throughout the comprehensive application process. Her work includes character, fitness and suitability hearings; disciplinary grievances; and other unique regulatory issues.
Additionally, Kristina regularly advises clients in all aspects of cannabis licensing and regulation, including legislative. Her work includes extensive collaboration with industry members to uphold the integrity of the industry through prudent regulation.
Kristina works on both legal and government relations matters, primarily out of the firm’s Las Vegas and Carson City, Nevada offices, as well as on government relations matters in the firm’s Cheyenne, Wyoming office.
Prior to joining Brownstein, Kristina was an attorney at Hyperion Advisors.
