Combining diligence and a poised approach, Kimberly Leefatt’s environmental practice is informed by multifaceted experience spanning litigation and transactional matters as well as government investigations.

Prior to joining Brownstein, Kimberly worked as an associate in the D.C. office of a California-based law firm focused on a variety of environmental matters. While there, she represented clients in federal civil litigation and during federal government criminal investigations before the U.S. EPA and U.S. Department of Justice involving the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act; Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act; and the Clean Air Act. She also helped navigate complex environmental regulatory matters during due diligence in corporate transactions for private equity, coal, petroleum, packaging and industrial chemical companies.
