Sweet, Cecily S.

An analytical problem solver, Cecily Sweet brings acute business insight and attention to detail to her corporate practice.

Cecily joined Brownstein from Talent Plus, Inc., in Lincoln, Nebraska, where she served as associate in-house counsel and a leadership and management consultant. In her role as associate in-house counsel, Cecily negotiated, drafted and revised agreements with the company’s client partners in the United States, Europe and Asia. She also reviewed and improved service, independent contractor, non-compete, non-disclosure and software license agreements. While in law school and business school, Cecily clerked for a boutique law firm as well as at the Pentagon for the Office to the General Counsel to the Secretary of Defense.

  • Counsel to MGM Resorts in its $825 million sale of the Circus Circus Hotel Casino and Festival Grounds to an affiliate of businessman Phil Ruffin.
