After fifteen years at Caesars Entertainment, serving as counsel for the company’s capital markets activity, corporate transactions and enterprise development efforts, Scott Wiegand understands the multitude of challenges facing gaming and hospitality industry clients. He has a penchant for collaboration and a history of successfully completing complex transactions within multiple gaming regulatory environments. In recent years, he has translated this successful track record to assisting clients engaged in the rapid-growth sports betting market.
Scott also represents new ventures and early stage companies in both Denver and Nevada. He is dedicated to fostering a more robust startup ecosystem in Las Vegas; he recently represented Caesars in its collaboration with UNLV to establish an innovation hub and accelerator for the hospitality and gaming industries and he serves as pro bono counsel to StartUpNV, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to fostering Nevada’s startup ecosystem.
